The Golf Lab CT is a 24-hour indoor golf training facility located in Fairfield, CT. Designed for golfers who value flexibility, privacy, and precision, this venue provides an ideal space to work on all aspects of the game—whether you’re looking to sharpen fundamentals or test performance in a controlled environment. With 24/7 access and advanced simulator technology, it offers a unique experience for players seeking focused, self-directed practice.
For full disclosure, I joined Golf Lab CT a few months ago and now go 3–4 times a week, either solo or with my kids. It has quickly become my favorite training space. I was drawn to the idea of having consistent access to top-tier tools without having to schedule around busy driving ranges or shared simulator bays. My goal was to find a place where I could truly dial in my swing, get meaningful data, and enjoy the process in a setting that supports independent improvement.
Facility
Golf Lab CT consists of four total rooms: a front room, back room, executive room, and a dedicated putting simulator bay featuring PuttView. Each hitting room is equipped with a TrackMan simulator, and all include essential training tools such as WhyGolf pressure plates, alignment sticks, and a generous supply of plastic tees. The front and back rooms are particularly spacious and well-suited for full swings and full-squad sessions. The executive room is best for 1–2 golfers and can feel a bit short front-to-back when hitting driver. That said, it’s still functional for short irons and wedge work.
The putting simulator deserves special mention. PuttView overlays real-time slope contours and directional arrows on the putting surface, letting you visualize line, pace, and aim zones with remarkable clarity. It’s the only indoor putting tech I’ve used that replicates the feel of on-course reads. Another big bonus: each room includes a Sonos soundbar, and the walls are well insulated—so you can play music via Spotify or Apple Music and truly feel alone with your game. There’s no on-site staff, which I consider a plus: you set your vibe, set your volume, and focus without interruption. The owner is also fantastic—responsive, knowledgeable, and committed to improving the space. A workout room is also planned for Fall 2025, which will add even more value.

Atmosphere
While its location behind a shopping complex may be a little hidden to first-timers, I actually love the setup. The complex has restaurants, retail, and kids’ activity centers—my own kids take classes here, so it’s easy to get in a focused 30-minute session and then grab ice cream as a family afterward. The space is quiet, clean, and adult-oriented. There’s no walk-in crowd or noise—just code access and structured practice. It’s worth noting that Golf Lab CT is also used by the Fairfield Stags golf team, a nod to its high-performance orientation.
The TrackMan software adds to the atmosphere for golfers who like feedback, structure, or a little fun mixed in. If you’re a data nerd, TrackMan Combine is a must-try—it’s a standardized skills assessment that scores you out of 100 and lets you track improvement over time with different clubs and targets. On the flip side, when I’m with my kids, we love the TrackMan game modes. “Mystic Quest” is our favorite—it’s a fantasy-themed game where you hit shots to unlock levels and progress through magical landscapes. The games are surprisingly polished and engaging for both kids and adults, making this a perfect stop for family-friendly fun with real practice benefits baked in. The PuttView system also has games of its own, which is amazing.

Pricing
Golf Lab CT offers a mix of hourly, monthly, and annual pricing. July falls into the Off-Peak Season (May–October), where all simulators—regardless of room—are priced at a flat rate. The technology here would cost $25,000–$30,000 for just a basic TrackMan setup, and north of $50,000 for a full PuttView simulator, which makes the hourly rate feel like exceptional value. Reservations are made through a customer portal and are simple to manage.
Here’s a rough breakdown of pricing options for July 2025:
| Plan Type | Cost & Benefits |
|---|---|
| Hourly Plan | $25/hr, pay-as-you-go, no commitment |
| Monthly Plan | $125/month, includes $300 rental credit, 20% off overages, credit rolls forward |
| Annual Plan | $125/month (Jul), includes $300 rental credit, 40% off overages, no membership fee |
Final Word
Golf Lab CT is an exceptional facility for serious golfers, independent learners, and early-morning tinkerers. Its biggest strength is its combination of tour-level tech, flexible booking hours, and thoughtfully stocked training aids. I especially value the PuttView system for indoor putting, and the ability to play music through Sonos without bothering (or being bothered by) others is a massive quality-of-life feature.
The only trade-offs are minor: the executive room isn’t ideal for full-swing driver work, and newcomers may need a few extra minutes to locate the entrance. But for anyone looking for a well-priced, tech-forward, and private practice space in Fairfield County, Golf Lab CT checks every box. If you’re ready to take ownership of your game without distractions, this is the spot.
